Moreover, I noticed that bright Grade 9 students, upon entering Grade 10, often struggle with the absolute basics: Fractions, Percentages, Division, and 2-digit Multiplication. And Word Problems? They are a pure nightmare for them. These students are eager to take Maths Methods in Grade 11, but because they struggle even with Grade 10 curriculum questions and class tests, they are forced to settle for General Maths. "Good Job" reports had hidden these gaps until it was too late. These are real stories.
I founded SK Maths EDGE to set a higher standard. I decided that families in Caroline Springs and Burnside shouldn't have to look toward the East for excellence.
